Kampen Valve Care Acquired by Score Group
We are delighted to announce Score Group has acquired Kampen Valve Care B.V, effective from June 8th, 2023.
Founded in 1982, Score Group is a specialist in valves, fuel systems and accessories, and component manufacture, providing complex engineering solutions to support customers in multiple markets including energy, aerospace, defence, utilities and nuclear.
With facilities in over thirty locations spanning five continents, Score is ideally placed to become a market leader in emissions abatement.
For the past 2 years, Score has been collaborating closely with Kampen supplying specialist labour and services to the Dutch market. This partnership has yielded positive results for both companies, receiving excellent feedback from customers.
The acquisition of Kampen will provide Score with a platform to further develop within the Dutch and wider Benelux marketplace and offer the opportunity to Kampen’s existing customers to access Score’s unique value adding services, including its Emissions Elimination Program (EEP). A single source solution for emissions management, the four-stage EEP process works to detect and quantify emissions at source, interpreting data to inform a customised repair and mitigation plan to maximise the reduction of emissions.
Score is committed to investing in Kampen Valve Care’s growth and development, which includes but not limited to, the upgrading of its current facilities, adding specialist labour to the team, and offering Score’s world-class training programme to the next generation of valve specialists.

Kampen Valve Care Wins Shell Nederland Raffinaderij Contract
Kampen Valve Care BV is proud to announce the award of a goods and service contract with Shell Nederland Raffinaderij BV.
The contract, covering both the Pernis and Moerduk sites, will see Kampen deliver valve and instrument repair and overhaul both on-site and in-house. The work will support Shell’s planned, emergency, and turnaround maintenance activities.
We look forward to working with Shell in the coming years, and to strengthening our relationship as we provide valve maintenance and support services.

Big announcement: Full scope valve service contract with Shell/Nam
Kampen Valve Care BV is proud to announce the signing of a full scope valve service contract with Shell/NAM. The contract includes safety, control and line valve services for all on and off-shore facilities. Besides the repair Kampen Valve Care BV will focus on optimizing the valve service business without jeopardizing safety standards. Kampen Valve Care will be working together with NAM/Shell on several improvement projects. We are looking forward in working together with them for the coming years!

A new long term valve service contract with Total E&P the Netherlands
Kampen Valve Care BV is proud to announce the signing of a new long term valve service contract with Total E&P the Netherlands. The contract includes valve maintenance on and off-shore inclusive stock keeping, mobile workshops, part and valve delivery and more additional services in order to provide our total valve service concept. We are looking forward in working for Total E&P coming years and keeping up valve performance and Total’s plants safe.

Introduce
As of today 1st of April 2020 mr Jan Zwanenburg started within our company as business unit manager in our Velsen facility. As former valve maintenance engineer at Kampen Valve Care and after that working internationally on and off-shore within service of control, safety and line valves at major valve companies he is now back bringing a lot of experience to our company. Kampen Valve Care BV now has the possibility to in-situ test pressure vacuum and emergency relief valves. The valves can be tested on site without removing them from the installation and/or tanks which saves labor and equipment costs. The tests are performed in accordance with international test standards like API2000.

Kampen Valve Care BV performs on site certification of 570 safety relief valves
On board the vessel Pioneering Spirit KVC has performed the certification of 570 safety relief valves. Our 10ft mobile workshop with all necessary tools and equipment for certification was on board incl two crew men.
